I feel compelled to share this link with everybody here, out of a sense of duty and humanity. Israel has been exposed, time and time again, but to no benefit of the innocent victims, who can't send off their men to work or their children to school, not fearing for their lives. Blood and gore have entered and raped almost every household in Palestine. This page carries raw footage, so the faint of heart are discouraged from going any further.
The strong Israeli lobby in the US is a secret to none. The US government seems to want to act when Mumbai happens, but it keeps turning a blind eye to what goes on in the Middle East, day in and day out, and in fact, perpetrates the same in Afghanistan and Iraq. They then sit back, pretent to ponder, hold elitist conferences at exotic locations, trying to find out why September 11 happened. The world, at large, keeps questioning why all "terrorists" are Muslims (I must thank them for at least acknowledging that all Muslims are not terrorists, however!).
Do you leave these people a choice?
STOP supporting Israel, for the love of God. Israel and the US remember the mass graves fed by the Nazis, but choose to forget Ariel Sharron's puppetries.

When I voiced my opinion about Israel decades ago I was called a Nazi. When I voice my opinion about Israel today I'm called a terrorist.
In my opinion the Israelis are the Nazis of today, applying almost the same methods that was once applied to them. But they still play the victim card and the world is supposed to feel sorry for them rather than correct them for misbehaving.
I was fed the lies about Israel as a child and believed them, but then I grew up and figured it out. It's not hard to see the truth if you want to, so all the adults in this world has no excuse for not seeing Israel as the monster that it really is.
Israel doesn't seem to learn its lessons from Lebanon. War achieves none of its objectives, and alienates all of its friends (except USA).
The brutal murder of 300 people (most of them civilians) in Gaza is a sad ordeal after several months of starvation. The long term solution is a true and undivided Palastenian state which can stand up to these kind of brutalities.
But, the only short term solution is to have Gaza under Egyptian control and treat the population with all the rights as Egyptian citizens.
Such a war of aggression by Israel would be then paramount to an attack on Egypt.
You both are right. Unfortunately, it means that the Palestinians' woes cannot be treated by convincing the US or the world about Israel's motives and actions; they already know it! It is much more difficult to convince somebody to take the higher, moral road...because their affiliations are not based on what is right but what is tangible and beneficial for them.
Today I saw in "The NEWS" a picture of 5 dead bodies. These were sisters who had died in the latest Israeli raid on Gaza. Theri father is crying to the deaf ears of the world community. The only one listening is Allah. Their blood wont go in vain, as God is the most merciful and the most just.
Their blood won't go in vain, but they will have to wait for the Day of Judgement. The world community needs to put in its own efforts to alleviate the Palestinians who have suffered the share of the entire humanity. We can and we must pray. What else?
New to blogging, as I am, I thought my first comment didn't get posted so I put up another one. you are most welcome to delete one of those. thanx.
we might not have to wait for the Judgement Day as sometimes God show his judgement in this world too!!
That judgement is being shown to the Muslims at this point in time, some might argue.
And now the US is asking Hammas to stop terror activities against Israel! WTF?
Where is the UN who we so seriously obey? Even if it's worthless, why can't our country move something in UN, albeit symbolically?
The Op-Ed in the NYT by Benny Morris made for some very revelatory reading, and I thought of sharing it here.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/30/opinion/30morris.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1
The part about the 'fifth column' was particularly significant as I was not aware of these demographics:
"The birth rates for Israeli Arabs are among the highest in the world, with 4 or 5 children per family (as opposed to the 2 or 3 children per family among Israeli Jews).
If present trends persist, Arabs could constitute the majority of Israel’s citizens by 2040 or 2050. Already, within five to 10 years, Palestinians (Israeli Arabs coupled with those who live in the West Bank and Gaza Strip) will form the majority population of Palestine (the land lying between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean)."
Anas, it is my understanding that the first and only reaction by US Ambassador to UN was to warn Hamas, and support Israel's contention.
Id, this kind of an article/op-ed is to be expected of a publication in the US, Israel or even India. They're always crying foul for what a sorry state Israel is in, when it is their state that forces the people on the other side to revolt with guerrilla tactics. As I wrote, they conveniently forget mass-graves dug for Palestinians, the countless murders and slaughters of school-children... To say that the neighbours Israel has our hostile to it and don't recognize it, is but a natural reaction to its tactics. See, for instance, this presentation. The third or fourth slide will demonstrate how the Palestinians have lost their land to these Zionists, and then, we'll be in a better position to assess if NYT is playing fair-game or simply contributing to typical mind-washing tactics.
These might help explain to the NYT columnist, Benny Moris (read: Benny Moris and the Reign of Error), why Hamas is, and why Israel is not an innocent, helpless victim:
From the ashes of Gaza by Tariq Ali
Britain has a duty to Arabs by Ed Husain
Can anyone who is following the Israeli air attacks on Gaza—the buildings blown to rubble, the children killed on their way to school, the long rows of mutilated corpses, the wailing mothers and wives, the crowds of terrified Palestinians not knowing where to flee, the hospitals so overburdened and out of supplies they cannot treat the wounded, and our studied, callous indifference to this widespread human suffering—wonder why we are hated?
Our self-righteous celebration of ourselves and our supposed virtue is as false as that of Israel. We have become monsters, militarized bullies, heartless and savage. We are a party to human slaughter, a flagrant war crime, and do nothing. We forget that the innocents who suffer and die in Gaza are a reflection of ourselves, of how we might have been should fate and time and geography have made the circumstances of our birth different.

they use some invisible strings for moving the puppets on the stage... though they might be discernible for the curious eye when a ray of light is reflected...
Where are the pictures of Hamas' young victims? *They* started this with missile attacks. You all act as if Israel simply started lobbing missiles about. Not so. That was your friends in Hamas.
I just hate it when people don't have the guts to comment with their own identity. Israel lobbies and lobbies hard in Washington. Don't deny that.
Do you punish an entire people because of the actions of a few terrorists among them? The whole of Israel is a terrorist state. Maybe all Israelis should be annihilated.
Also, please take a look at the death toll applet - of Palestinians and Israelis - on my main page.
At the moment, here is the toll:
Killed: 1095 Palestinians and 10 Israelis.
Injured: 5100 Palestinians and 130 Israelis.
Shame on Israel and those who defend its actions.
